Osmo Trial Kit

An unboxing experience that takes users from outer space into the Osmo world, turning packaging into a story of discovery.

Osmo is an interactive learning platform for children ages 4–12. The goal was to design a trial kit that could effectively introduce the brand to both parents and children within a single experience.

The packaging was designed with a dual-layered approach: the exterior communicates key information to parents, while the interior unfolds into a narrative-driven experience for children. As the box is opened and assembled, the graphics guide users from outer space into the Osmo world, culminating in a “control center” where the iPad is placed and the experience begins.

This structure transforms the unboxing into a moment of discovery, reinforcing the product’s sense of depth while creating an engaging first interaction with the brand.
