Nubocha branding & packaging

Designing a packaging system that blends culinary craft with exploration, turning each flavor into a richly patterned world.

Nubocha is a dairy-free, nut-based gelato created by renowned chocolatier Gianluca Franzoni. I led the development of the brand identity and packaging system, drawing from Gianluca’s spirit of adventure and deep appreciation for nature.

The visual language blends culinary craft with exploration, incorporating imagery of parrots, jaguars, and other exotic elements inspired by his travels. I developed the concept and directed the illustration approach, working with an illustrator to create individual assets that were then composed into rich, symmetrical collages across each package. Ingredients are interwoven with these vibrant environments, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to high-quality, thoughtfully sourced materials.

The result is a bold, pattern-driven system that stands apart in the category. Saturated color, dense composition, and expressive imagery create strong shelf impact while maintaining clarity and cohesion, positioning Nubocha as a more distinctive, design-forward presence within a traditionally restrained space.
